The Park City Film Series is presenting Made in Utah Films. The second film in the series, "Instructions on Parting" will have its Utah premier at the Jim Santy Auditorium, Monday, October 1st at 7:00.
The film premiered had its world premier last February in New York at the Museum of Modern Art Doc Fortnight Festival. "Instructions on Parting" features Amy Jenkins' family, who were Park City residents at the time the film was made.
The story evolves from the viewpoint of Amy Jenkins, whose first child is born while she is going toward and through the deaths of three close family members.
Director Amy Jenkins will be present for Q&A after the screening.

"Park City police blotter: slow-moving driver reported on Main Street"
The Park City Police Department last weekend received a complaint about a driver who was apparently moving especially slowly on Main Street, a road where traffic is at a crawl at the busiest times.
The show-moving driver was reported at 5:39 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 8. The vehicle was traveling "so slowly so he could look at the sights," the police were told. Cars were entering the oncoming lane of traffic to move around the vehicle, the person who contacted the police said."
